Little Dumplings

Celeste: Mama and I made Chicken and Dumplings for lunch yesterday while Papa was at church and Emilie took a nap.  It smelled so good I was eating my fingers!  (okay, so I eat my fingers all the time anyway!)
Emilie: Mama says I have a "100 watt smile."  I'll let you be the judge of that!

Here we are getting weighed today: Celeste is 11 lbs 13 oz and Emilie is 11 lbs 5 oz.  We are not big for our age, but we have plenty of chub on our cheeks and even some rolls!

This is where we hang out when we are feeling generous and let Mama take a shower. From out perspective, it looks like the Niagra Falls in there!

Tummy Torture and Hanging Out at Home

Hello!  Today's blog we are going to tell you about our really mean mom and something we like to call "Tummy Torture."  The doctor said we are supposed to have plenty of Tummy Time, meaning we spend time playing on our tummies to help our development.  But we hate it, so we have renamed it!  Here is a picture of us this month doing TT.

And after TT, Mama trying to calm us down:

Emilie: Sometimes Mama puts us right next to each other, and we smell good enough to eat.  One day, I thought I'd try it!  Apparently me licking Celeste  had a calming effect!

Celeste: Mama thought I was looking really cute this day, so she took this picture of me: Soon after, I decided to show her what this cute look was all about!  Mama says my artwork is impressive.  She even had to call Papa to tell him about it!

We started to notice each other this month.  We like to look each other in the eyes and smile at each other!  Sometimes we even talk to each other!

Here we are having a stare-down:

and holding hands:
and snoozing together:
and hangin' in our crib:
and playing matchy-clothes in our boppy pillow:

Happy Easter! Bonne Fête de Pâques

Today is a big day... so in order to get the most of it, we decided to sleep for more than 10 hours! That's right... no waking up in the middle of the night! Here we are in our bunny PJs:

Later, we decided to dress up for a nice Easter lunch with the family:

We are quite cute - don't you think?

Here we are with Opa... first crying, but then very happy

And back home, with Mama and Papa... Have a good week!
