8 weeks and smiling

Good morning everyone!!

Yes, this is early morning... Mama and Papa are up already...

 Probably because Emilie was awake? Well, that gives us the opportunity to get a good breakfast from mama and reflect on the last couple of weeks.

We have been doing a lot of growing recently, so we are trying to wear all of our cute outfits before they don't fit anymore! For instance these outfits are from Opa:

We loved them! We are growing so fast that they may not fit us anymore soon. Can you image, as of Tuesday March 3, which was our 8 week birthday, Céleste was 10lbs3oz (4.6kg) and Emilie was 9lbs6oz (4.25kg) !!

Life is good here. We still wake up regularly during the night, although sometimes one of us starts to sleep for a longer period of time. For instance, 2 nights ago, Céleste slept the whole night for the first time! But Emilie woke up 2 times so Mama did not have a chance to sleep that much (Mama even tried to wake Celeste up but it didn't work!). During the day, Mama tries to take naps but we like to get attention, so we take turns sleeping!  The only solution: power naps while we are eating:

During the weekend, we have a little more time to explore the world, especially since Papa can help Maman take care of us and the house. There are some nice flowers in our yard so we like to go there and discover:

And the fun part is that now we can follow Mama and Papa with our beautiful blue eyes, hold and look at things  - Papa said that the thing I have in my hand is a "Pisse au Lit" - Peeing in bed??? and Mama claimed it's a "Dandy Lion" really? a lion?? ... That's confusing, but whatver that's very pretty and  the little white things started to fly when the wind was blowing on them...

Also we are smiling now!  Mama and Papa love this development and they keep wanting us to smile more and more! 

What else do we do?

Mama has started to read to us, and we seem to like that (at least for a few minutes!). 

We also like to play on our play mat, although sometimes playing together is messy when one of us (who shall remain nameless to protect the innocent!) projectile vomited all over herself and her sister. 

Wow, what a talented twin to ruin 2 outfits at once.  Speaking of that, we love to change clothes.  We do it all the time.  Here are pictures of some of our favorite outfits :
