Mother's Day and other treats


Yesterday was our first Mother's Day.  Well, technically Mama's first Mother's Day, but without us, there would be no celebrating, right?  (after all, aren't we the center of the universe?)

We tried to do a craft project for Mama, but it didn't work out.  It gave Mama a much-needed laugh though.  She appreciated it.  Papa made Mama a really nice breakfast, and we gave Mama flowers and a card.  That morning, we took some pictures with our favorite Mama! 

We wanted Papa to be in the pictures too, but you can see we were being silly by the time he joined us! 
Emilie: I find taking pictures very serious business!
Celeste: My tongue had to make its photo debut sometime!


Later, Omi and Uncle Tim, Aunt Tina and our cousins Nick and Abby came over.  We took some family pictures:

    Yes, the mother day don't work without us !

    I REALLY wanted to take a picture of the arts and crafts project, but someone wouldn't let me! It was supposed to be footprints in this cement stuff. It looked like a blob of oatmeal filling about 1/3 of a heart-shaped tray, with vague footprints in the oatmeal...sadly, it got thrown away!!!
